A STORY BY THOMAS GUYOT

ONCE UPON THE END

Every Sunday at noon, Anatole makes his way to the village cemetery to pay a visit to his late father.

The cemetery transforms into Anatole's playground, until the day he encounters a peculiar sight—an elegant old lady, adorned with multiple watches. Startled, the old lady flees from the child, but Anatole, guided by the perpetual rhythm of her watches, swiftly tracks her down. This time, she hides behind a gravestone bearing the name of the old lady: Mrs. Late.

'How can you see me?'

Realizing his strange power, Anatole searched for his father for days and nights without ever finding a trace of him. Instead, he has met every single resident of the cemetery waiting to go

to the Afterlife.

In front of the gates, Anatole encountered a little pale girl. The girl can't talk but most of all, can't enter the cemetery among the other residents. When he asked her for her name,
she pointed at the Moon.

Anatole will have to learn how to communicate with Moon and understand why

she cannot access the cemetery like the others.
